Check Every 1000 Hours (Once Two Months)

6. Turn off the servo switch.
7. Open the rear center safety cover.
8. Set the main axis motor at 600 ± 10
pulse by rotating it by hand.
9. Make sure of the grease supplying
spots, and supply grease to the
linearways D and E of the No. 7
station from the pick-up side.
10. By rotating the main axis motor by
hand again, shift the head to the next
one and set the main axis motor at
600 ± 10 pulse, then supply grease.
∗ Supply grease to all the 12 heads.
11. When you have supplied grease to all
the 12 heads, set the main axis at 0 to
30 pulse by rotating it by hand.
12. Press twice.
• The “Main menu” screen reappears.

1-6-7 Cleaning and Greasing the Cutting Unit
This unit is for cutting tape.
Clean the movable blade, drive lever
fulcrum, and rod end, then apply
grease.

1.Movable blade

2.Lever fulcrum
Grease lever fulcrum through grease nipple.
3.Rod end
Directly apply grease.
1-6-8 Cleaning and Greasing the Take-up Part
This is the drive part which controls the height of lowest limit of nozzle, and picks up chips.
Clean the linear bearing, screw shaft,
cam follower, rod end, lever fulcrum,
and spring, then apply grease.
(Oil : VALIANT U2)
1.Linear bearing
Grease the slide unit.
2.Screw shaft
Directly apply grease to the screw shaft.
3.Cam follower
Directly apply grease to the cam follower.
4.Rod end
Directly apply grease.
5.Lever fulcrum
Grease lever fulcrum through the grease
nipple.
6.Spring
Directly apply grease to the hook and joint.

This is the drive for feeding tape.
Clean the linear bearing and rod end,
then apply grease.

Grease the slide unit.
2.Rod end
Directly apply grease.
1-6-10 Greasing the Rib Cam
The main axis setting the transfer head makes indexing movement, (intermittent movement) by
rotating the main motor. The elevating unit rises and goes down from the pickup to the mount part
along the rib cam.
Apply grease to rib cam.
(Oil : VALIANT U2)
1.Rib cam
Directly apply grease.
∗ Be careful not to leave grease on head theta
motor boards.
