Module Number: 5 Module Name: Sprocket Wheel Drive assembly
NOTE: To guarantee 100% accuracy of the feeder, the preferred method to replace a sprocket wheel, sprocket wheel sensor and/or index
motor is to send the feeder to an authorised repair shop.
After exchange, approx.90% of all repaired 8 mm feeders used for 0402 components will perform within expectations. Otherwise
the feeder has to be send back to the repair shop! For 8 mm feeders with larger components (0603) no problems are expected.
For feeders larger than 8 mm this method can be used without any problem.
