6.5 Waffle pack changer (WPC5/WPC6)
6.5.1 Description
The waffle pack changer makes components available in the waffle pack trays, to avoid unneces-
sary loss of time during storage and automatic changing of the waffle pack trays. The individual,
programmable access to up to 28 waffle pack trays also increases the range of components avail-
able.
The waffle pack changer has an integral chassis, and is easy to move to other locations. It is sup-
plied with the PCB conveyor height set for the customer-specific placement machine but can be
quickly and easily adapted to conveyor heights of 900, 930, and 950 mm. The fixed component
table must be configured at the remaining location.
