Vacuum the Y-cooling filter mats / replace, if required 6

Machines delivered up until February 2010 are equipped with filter mats. 6
a Vacuum the Y-cooling filter mats (4 filter mats, 2 on each side of the machine).

: When you have vacuumed the filter mats check them for dirt.
Replace them, if they are dirty.
s To do this, remove the upper cover plates that cover the filter mats (4 screws on each side of
the protective hoods.
d Remove the filter mats and insert new ones.
: Fit the cover plates.

Machines delivered from March 2010 are equipped with new metal filters. They do not have to be
replaced any more. 6
a Vacuum the Y-cooling metal filters (4 metal filters, 2 on each side of the machine).

: Close the protective cover.
: Repeat these tasks in every placement area.

Inspect or replace the silencer 6
a Check the silencer of the Collect&Place head for dirt.
If it is discolored, detach the retainer by turning it counter-clockwise.
s Replace the dirty filter and reverse the sequence described above to fit.

Clean and grease the toothed belts for the X and Z axes 6
: Clean the toothed belts of the X and Z axes.

d Lightly grease the X axis toothed belt using a short-bristled brush moistened with ISOFLEX
TOPAS NCA 52.
f Lightly grease the Z axis toothed belt using a short-bristled brush moistened with ISOFLEX
TOPAS NCA 52.
: Distribute the grease evenly over the toothed belt by moving the axes back and forth.
: Remove any excess grease.
