5.1 Replacing the Slot Sensor

Remove the two screws DIN EN ISO 7380-M3 x
5-A2-70 [03045193-xx] (2).
Remove the Clamper cover [03145970-xx] (1).
Turn the Clamper gear 0.5x40 (2) to move the
clamper sensor part [03143529-xx] till the screws
(1) of the Slot sensor w/ connector [03145975-xx]
are reachable.
Remove the two screws ISO 4762 - M 3 x 6-
A2-70 [03042541-xx] (1).
Remove the Slot sensor w/ connector [03145975-
xx].
Installation
Follow the removal instructions in reverse order for installation.

Standard tools
Cable, through beam sensor emitter, common [03146662-xx]
Removal
Switch off the machine, disconnect it from the power supply and secure it to prevent
unauthorized reactivation. Observe the instructions in section 1.2 "Preparatory Work..." [}11].
Remove the tower from the machine (see 2.1.2 "Removing Tower from Machine" [}21]).
Remove the top cover (see 2.1.3 "Removing Tower Top Cover" [}25]).
Remove the side cover (see 2.1.4 "Removing Side Cover" [}27]).
Remove the screw ISO 4762 - M 3 x 6-A2-70
[03042541-xx] (1) of the cable clamp.
Disconnect the plug X*(1) of the Cable, through
beam sensor emitter, common [03146662-xx].

Remove the two screws ISO 7045 - M2 x 4-
A2-50-H [03010197-xx] (2).
Remove the Cable, through beam sensor emitter,
common [03146662-xx] (1).
Installation
Follow the removal instructions in reverse order for installation.

Tray Position
Do a running sensor check when the replacement is completed to ensure the correct tray
position is achieved.
