ADM Module – Machine Assets
Hierarchy of machine assets:
Site – A site is an organizational unit within an enterprise. Site is divided into Site TR and Site PM.
In Site TR, stations (T) are grouped together and In Site PM, stations (M) are grouped together
Machine group - Stations of the same type (e.g. printer/pick&place/SPI/oven) are grouped into
individual machine groups.
Cell - Machine groups are then grouped into cells. Depending on the site (TR or PM) in which the cell
is located, it is designated as either a TR cell or PM cell.
Lines - In lines (T), the sum of all stations, consisting of stations (T) and stations (M), is used to
create a process-oriented composite of the actual production line(s).
Station – Divided into (T) & (M). Stations (T) can process and store process-related data (such as
time stamps).
These stations are vital when the function for tracking parts (traceability in the TR Module) is to be
used. Stations (M) are required for the processing of process-related data (such as productivity).

ADM Module – Machine Assets – Site/Station parameters
The configuration parameters such as Site or Station are essential part of iTAC. Parameters define
required behaving of iTAC or its API functions.
Site parameter:
Site specific parameters which contains all station
Station parameter:
Station specific parameters
Note: Some parameters are same for the site and station. Station parameter overrides site
parameter.

Station
parameter
Activates/deactivates (Y/N) the
monitoring of the container state
upon setup
creation at the (manual) setup
station. If the option is set (Y), only
valid containers
are accepted for setup creation.

Station
parameter
Activates/deactivates (Y/N) the
monitoring of the container
quantity upon setup
creation at the (manual) setup
station. If the option is set (Y), only
containers
for creating a setup are accepted
whose container quantity is > 0.

Station
parameter
Activates/deactivates (Y/N) the
monitoring of the expiration date
(MSL) upon
setup creation at the (manual)
setup station. If the option is set
(Y), only valid
containers are accepted for setup
creation.

Station
parameter
Activates/deactivates the option
of automatically booking the
processed components for the
processing of an individual item by
quantity from the rigged
containers.

bookings
Station
parameter
In the event of multiple bookings
of a station to a serial number, this
activates/
deactivates whether the
consumed materials are booked
on all bookings
(TRUE) or whether this only occurs
for the first booking (FALSE).
To be set to TRUE during testing

Station
parameter
Activates/deactivates (Y/N)
whether scrapped serial numbers
of a multiple
panel can be mounted in the next
integration level.

Site & Station
parameters
Parameter for controlling the
program behaviour for whether
serial numbers
may be processed further even if
they were booked once with
SCRAP at a
work step. To be initially set as site
parameter.
The program behaviour selected
here is initially valid for all stations
in
the site; if necessary, the
behaviour for individual stations
can be overridden (station
parameter code no. 18200)
