3. Allocation of customer-specific type FM_PLCC without any restrictions
● Activate icon in the command area (if the Feeder Editor is still in the "selection mode").
The "Line" button in the setting area is automatically activated. All machine types are selected.
● Select the entry FM~PLCC for the customer-specific type "FM_PLCC" in the selection field
"Placeable feeders". In the selection field "Feeder" the following entry is displayed:
FM~PLCC
Example "B" for component "BESO20" in package form "541"
Task:
1. The component should be able to be supplied on machine types "SIPLACE 80F

" and "SIPLACE80S" by
means of the customer-specific type "FD_VSO20" (based on the 8mm-tape feeder, electric) only
on the left
side of the machine (as seen in direction of travel).
2. In addition, the component should be able to be set up on machine type "SIPLACE 80F
4
" by means of the
9.5mm-linear feeder.
3. Ín addition, the component should be able to be set up on machine type "SIPLACE80S" by means of the
12 mm-tape feeder.
Steps to be performed:
1. Setting the Feeder Editor for editing the component "BESO20"
● Click on the "Component" editing field, enter the component name BESO20 and complete your
entry by pressing RETURN.
In the "Package form" editing field, the number of the package form ("541") allocated to the com-
ponent "BESO20" is displayed, and in the "GF name" field the comment ("VSO20") entered in the
Package Form Editor is displayed.

● Activate icon or icon in the command area.
● Select entry FD~S_8_EL for 8mm-tape feeders, electric, in the selection field "Placeable feeders"
by double-clicking. The sub-editor "Feeder data" for the definition of the customer-specific type
(name, correction values for the packaging offset, vibration time) is opened.

Meaning of the editing fields (see also chapt. 13)
- Name
Name of the customer-specific type
- X [mm]
Offset from the component center to the feeder division in x-direction
- Y [mm]
Offset from the component center to the feeder division in y-direction
- Z [mm]
Correction value in z-direction for the component pick-up height from the feeder division
(Normally, no value must be entered here, since the pick-up height is preset in the MA-Data).
- Angle [degree]
Angle of component pick-up from the feeder division (required due to the packaging)
- Vibrat. time [ms]
Vibration time of the selected feeder type
(The vibration time applies to both divisions of the feeder simultaneously).

Editing feeder data:
● Click on editing field Name and enter FD_VS020 for the name of the customer-specific type.
● Click on editing field X and enter 0.010.
● Click on editing field Y and enter 0.010.
● Click on editing field Z and enter 0.
● Click on editing field Angle and enter 0.
● Click on editing field Vibrat. time and enter 250.
NOTE
To be able to immediately detect any invalid entries, the RETURN key should be pressed after each
entry. If the current entry is incorrect, the corresponding editing field will be surrounded by a red
frame.
● Click on OK for the data to be accepted. The sub-editor "Feeder data" is closed.
The name of the created customer-specific type is displayed in the selection field "Placeable
feeders".
3. Allocating the customer-specific type "FD_VSO20" to the left feeder part of the machine type
"SIPLACE 80F

● Activate icon in the command area (if the Feeder Editor is still in the "selection mode").
● In the display area, click on the left feeder part of the machine type SIPLACE 80F

("S_SIP_80F_4"). The selected area is highlighted.
● Select the entry FD_VSO20 for the customer-specific type "FD_VSO20" in the selection field
"Placeable feeders".
In the "Feeder" selection field, the following entry for feeder, machine type and machine side is dis-
played:
FD_VSO20 S_SIP_80F_4 L
4. Allocating 9.5mm-linear feeders to the feeder parts of the machine type "SIPLACE 80F

● In the display area, click on the "complete" machine type "S_SIP_80F_4" (see Fig. 9.1.2).
The selected machine type is highlighted.
● Select entry FD~S_LIN_95 for 9.5mm-linear feeders in the selection field "Placeable feeders".
In the "Feeder" selection field, the following entry for feeder and machine type (under the entry for
the 8mm-tape feeder) is displayed:
