AC Servopack Check List for Troubleshooting
Alarm Alarm Name Status Cause Check Item Remedy
A.E0 SERCOS IF
Unset
• SERCOS IF CPU is set to
nonoperation (SERCOS IF
status (S or ST) LED (green)
does not come on).
• SERCOS IF does repeater
operation only.
• Problem with the SERCOS IF
connection.
• Base board defective. (SGDZ)
• SERCOS IF defective.
• Servopack defective.
• Set the switches 1 to 3 on the
servo amp according to the
electrical schematic.
• Reattach the connector between
the SGDH and the SERCOS IF.
• Reattach the connector between
the base board and the
SERCOS IF.
• Replace the base board.
(SGDZ)
• Replace the SERCOS IF.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Check that the connector
between the SGDH and the
SERCOS IF, or the base board
and the SERCOS IF (SGDZ) are
connected properly.
• Base board defective. (SGDZ)
• SERCOS IF defective.
(DPRAM (SGDH), CPU defective)
• Servopack defective.
(When using SGDZ, DPRAM
defective)
• Occurs at (10 sec. after)
control power on.
NP1MT008E
A.E2 WDC Error • Occurs after the
initialization of the
SERCOS communications.
• Fiber optics are cut.
• Power is off at one of the other
servo amps in the SERCOS
communications loop.
• Servo board is defective.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
• Check if the fiber optics connector
is detached or if the connection is
cut.
• Check if “bb” is flashing (SGDH)
at one of the servo amps within
the loop, or if its power is off.
• Check for power alarms such as
sudden stoppage.
• Check for alarms such as cuts in
servo board communications.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
• Manually readjust the fiber optics
cabling.
• Manually readjust the power and
power wiring.
• Improve the power source.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Replace the SERCOS IF.
A.E3 MST Loss • Occurs after the
initialization of the
SERCOS communications.
• Servo board is defective.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
• Check for alarms such as cuts in
servo board communications.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
• Replace the Servopack.
• Replace the SERCOS IF.

• Occurs after the
initialization of the
SERCOS communications.
NP1MT009E
A.E7 SERCOS IF Error • Occurs at power ON. • SERCOS IF is not connected
correctly.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
• Check that the connector
between the SGDH and the
SERCOS IF is connected properly.
• SERCOS IF is defective.
(DPRAM is defective).
• Reattach the connector.
• Replace the SERCOS IF.

CPF01
Digital Operator
Transmission Error 1
Transmission Error 2
• Occurs at power ON when
the digital operator is connected
or when the digital operator is
connected after power ON.
(Whether transmission is
established is determined by
checking the data code of the
signal that is sent every approx.
100 msec from the Servopack.
If the data code is normal,
transmission is established.)
• Imperfect connection between
the digital operator and
Servopack.
• Digital operator defective.
• Servopack defective.
• Incorrect cable or connection
between the digital operator and
Servopack.
• Digital operator control defective.
• Servopack defective.
• Insert the connector again or
replace the cable.
• Replace the digital operator.
• Replace the Servopack.
