6. Use the pin extraction jig (1276716-1, 234168-1) to remove the Z-axis encoder and

power cable pins from the connector.

7. Removing the Z axis is now complete.

Replacing the Z axis motor

2.2 Attaching the Z axis Motor

Note: Be sure to prepare a replacement motor that has terminals attached.

1. Insert the motor’s power and encoder wires in the connector. Refer to the diagrams

below in order to insert the wires in the correct location.

Note: After inserting the wires pull them to check that none of the pins are loose in the

connector.

2. Attach the Z-axis motor with the two mounting bolts.

3. Temporally tighten the 4 coupling bolts.

4. Secure the power and encoder wires with cable ties.(3 position)

5. Connect each of the connectors to the board.

6. Perform the Z-axis proper data measurement.
