Component cameras should be recalibrated from time to time using the gray standard nozzle S-
15/F3 with reference to these calibration instructions.
The work must be carried out by an experienced and appropriately-trained service engineer.
During calibration, individual digital photographs of the gray standard nozzle are taken "manually".
A false color image is then output via a monitor. The camera setting is then assessed with refer-
ence to the color distribution (described in greater detail below).
5HTXLUHPHQWV
– Only suitable for 19 x 25 mm (type 9) component cameras which can be found in SIPLACE S-
15 and F3 machines.
– Calibration tool service box S-15/F3.
– The screen must be in as-new condition - all colors must be present and there must be no burn-
in of the surfaces of the cathode-ray tubes.
– The machine must be allowed to warm up for at least 30 minutes.
