The reference values for the calibration of the Fiducial Camera is as follows.  Fiducial Camera (FOV 12) ScaleX:23.0~27.0( μ m/pixel) ScaleY : 23.0~27.0 ( μ m/pixel) " Memo

in the message box. Click the <Next> button to move the fiducial camera

to the position for the ANC of Fiducial Mark.

3. The message “Calibration is Prepared. To Calibrate, Click [Next]” appears.

At this time, click the <Light…> button and adjust the brightness of the

light in the ‘Light Control’ dialog box so that the fiducial mark that is seen

in the ‘SMVision’ window can be seen clearly. Then click the <Next>

button.

4. The calibration is performed automatically. If it is completed, the

calibration result is displayed as shown in the following figure. Click the

<Update> button to apply the new calibration value.

1.2.4. Common XY Calibration

A process to coincide the coordinates of two Gantries. If it is not done correctly,

there will be an offset between Gantry 1 and Gantry2, which will not only affect

placement precision but also cause collision of gantries.

 <Automatic Next> checkbox

Select this check box and click the <Next> button. Then the process that

matches the coordinate systems between gantries is performed automatically.

 <Manual> checkbox

Move the gantry to the designated position by using the teaching box and

perform the process that matches the coordinate systems between gantries

manually.

 <Test only> check box

When calibration is done after selecting this, the result is displayed but not

saved. Consequently, it is possible to check the changes made in the current

machine compare to the previous data.

 <Device> combo box

Select the Fiducial camera to be moved.

 <Move> button

Move the fiducial camera of the selected gantry.

Warning

Operation error caused by unauthorized or untrained

personnel or insufficient checking before calibration could

severely damage the machine

or the set up data, or it could cause personal injury of the

operator or the worker near the machine.

Before carrying out calibration, check the item to be

calibrated and check if there is any worker near the

machine.

And calibration must be carried out by an authorized and

trained user only.
