9. Maintenance
9.1 Periodic Maintenance
9.1.1 Precautionary Items
This section describes how to perform lubrication, inspections, and
cleaning work to keep the machine in good working condition. It is
recommended that the maintenance work be performed periodi-
cally.
• Do not air-blow.
If dirt and dust are dispersed, they adhere to various sensors,
ball screw, linear guide, etc., causing the machine break down.
• If the V. bend detection unit is operated with dirt and dust accu-
mulated, it will result in incorrect recognition.
9.1.2 Preparation for Maintenance
Preparation for Cleaning
Prepare the cleaning tools.
• Rag
Use a clean rag (cotton, etc.) which is as less waste thread as
possible.

• Only qualified personnel should perform the
maintenance work carefully, following the
specified instructions.
WARNING
• Before performing maintenance work, turn off
the power and air source and lock the power
breaker using the padlock.
• Designate a person who can have charge of
the padlock key.
Refer to the Instruction Manual of the Main
Machine for details.

the test ID and the component pick-up and component recognition be
tested.
