Notes on Machine Operations
Please keep the instruction manual in a safe place within reach.
Follow the instructions in the instruction manual for correct handling of these tape
feeders.
Be sure to fully understand the contents of the safety instructions in the instruction manual
and follow the instructions.
Please keep the precautionary items described in the instruction manual or the machine.

When the precautionary items are ignored, it will result in personal injury or property
damage (damage to these tape feeders).
Do not modify these tape feeders nor use any parts other than the specied ones.
Doing otherwise may cause personal injury.
Do not perform any operations other than those described in the instruction manual.
Whenever a problem arises, regarding these tape feeders operations, performance, etc.,
please contact the marketing department or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies for
the solution.
While the machine (SIGMA Series) is running, keep yourself or an object away
from any moving mechanisms.
When there is a problem with the machine (SIGMA Series), locate the cause
and assess the condition.
Turn off the power supply if necessary. After the problem has been rectied
completely, reset the machine to its normal condition.
If the tape feeder is dropped, it might injure your foot or the feeder itself be
damaged.
Handle one by one carefully and take care not to drop.
When the green lamp of the machine (SIGMA Series) light tower is ON or ickering
(ON and OFF), it indicates that the static machine is in the "Automatic" mode (standby
mode).
In case of a disaster of any kind, earthquake, storm, ood, re, or lightning,
immediately stop the machine (SIGMA Series) and turn off the power supply.
When the machine (SIGMA Series) stops due to a component pickup error, be sure to
remove the mis-picked component from the feeder and start the automatic operation.
After the suppressor has been moved up and down, make sure that the tape feeder front
hook is securely caught, and that the suppressor does not rise.
