(1) Remove the set screw (countersunk head screw), and attach it onto the set
screw housing section.

Note
For a 32 mm width tape, the tape guide is not available.
When a 32 mm width tape is to be used, make sure to remove the tape

2.6 Joint Detection Unit
In the case of tape feeders GD-28080, GD-28081, GD-28082, GD-28083,
GD-12162, GD-24322, GD-44562, GD-72002 and GD-88002 with Joint detection
units, pass the tape through the joint detection unit.
Procedure
(1) Bend the cover tape at the end of the tape and pass the tape according to the
tape guide from under the joint detection unit.

Note
If a 16 mm width tape in GD-12162, 32 mm width tape in GD-24322 and 56
mm width tape in GD-44562 is to be attached, it is necessary to move the tape
guide of the joint detection unit.
