The Coplanarity Option is used on SIPLACE 80 F4 / F4-6 / F5 and consists of:
- the coplanarity processing unit in the control unit (details: see Fig. 12.6.7),
- the sensor bracket with coplanarity sensor in the conveyor trench (details: see Fig. 12.6.8),
- the metal dust cover in the conveyor trench (details: see Fig. 12.6.8)
- and assorted cables (details: see circuit diagrams in Section 12.6.4):
A test connector (Item No.: Section 12.6.2) is available to locate problems and to check whether the laser
shuts off when disconnected in the event of an interruption in the protective circuit. The connector is used as
described in Section 12.6.15.2.
Instruction by a laser protection officer is mandatory before any service work is performed on this
option.
The prerequisite before a service engineer can perform any servicing of this option is instruction by a
laser protection officer (see Section 12.6.1) !

For details about the cable "Coplanarity" (= cable harness, X98 -> Power pack) -> see "Retrofitting Instruc-
tions for Coplanarity Option", Item No. 00190 585-04.
After each step involving this cable harness, the safety check of the laser shut-off device must be carried out
(see this instruction or retrofitting instructions).
