CAUSE
● Mismeasurement: component out of focus or measurement interrupted by EMERGENCY STOP.
REMEDY
● Repeat measurement; correct focus; do not interrupt with EMERGENCY STOP.
447 Z-axis at IC head cannot be moved upwards
CAUSE
● When the start button is pressed the Z-axis of the IC head is at bottom and cannot be moved
upwards.
REMEDY
● Move Z-axis upwards manually; check Z-axis IC head.
449 IC head Z-axis does not reach placement/pick-up position
CAUSE
Z-axis of the IC head stiff; jamming of the IC head not corrected, position cannot be reached.
REMEDY
● Inform Siemens Service; inspect the jamming; check minimum and maximum travel range.
450 IC head Z-axis does not reach 0 position
CAUSE
● Z-axis of the IC head stiff; jamming of the IC head not corrected; erroneous zero point correction.
REMEDY
● Inform Siemens Service; inspect the jamming; change zero point correction.
451 IC head sensor for Z-axis does not react
CAUSE
● Top Bero of the Z-axis of the IC head defective; top Bero of the Z-axis of the IC head incorrectly
aligned;
erroneous zero point correction.
REMEDY
● Check input top Bero (input is always 0); realign top Bero of the Z-axis of the IC head; change
zero point correction.
452 IC head sensor for Z-axis is not released at top
CAUSE
● Top Bero of the Z-axis of the IC head defective.
REMEDY
● Check input top Bero (input is always 1).

CAUSE
● After placement by the IC head the component is still at the nozzle.
REMEDY
● Vacuum circuit defective; forced air or vacuum cannot be switched off.
454 Component could not be placed. Warning!
CAUSE
● The component could be recognized as placed by the IC head only after the second measure-
ment.
REMEDY
● Check vacuum circuit; check forced air and vacuum of the IC head.
455 Component not on nozzle during placement
CAUSE
● After placement by the IC head the component is still at the nozzle.
REMEDY
● Vacuum circuit defective; forced air or vacuum cannot be switched off.
456 Component not on nozzle during placement. Warning!
CAUSE
● The component could be recognized as placed by the IC head only after the second measure-
