453 Component could not be placed
CAUSE
● After placement by the IC head the component is still at the nozzle.
REMEDY
● Vacuum circuit defective; forced air or vacuum cannot be switched off.
454 Component could not be placed. Warning!
CAUSE
● The component could be recognized as placed by the IC head only after the second measure-
ment.
REMEDY
● Check vacuum circuit; check forced air and vacuum of the IC head.
455 Component not on nozzle during placement
CAUSE
● After placement by the IC head the component is still at the nozzle.
REMEDY
● Vacuum circuit defective; forced air or vacuum cannot be switched off.

● Head height, nozzle length erroneous.
REMEDY
● Correct head height, nozzle length.
463 IC head D-axis does not reach desired position
CAUSE
● Motor defective; clamping actuated.
REMEDY
● Fit new motor; release clamping and check.
464 IC head Z-axis does not reach desired position
CAUSE
● Motor defective; Z-axis jamming; clamping actuated.
REMEDY
● Fit new motor; check Z-axis; release clamping and check.
465 IC head D-axis disabled
CAUSE
● D-axis switched off at the axis controller switch.
REMEDY
● Switch on D-axis at the axis controller.
466 IC head Z-axis disabled
CAUSE
● Z-axis switched off at the axis controller switch.
REMEDY
● Switch on Z-axis at the axis controller.
467 Gantry distance insufficient. Protective system reacted
CAUSE
● Gantries have been moved too close together.
REMEDY
● Switch machine off and back on.

REMEDY
● Optimize pick-up; raise positional tolerances in the package form editor.

CAUSE
● Incorrect component length; tolerances defined are too small.
REMEDY
● Raise tolerance; check component description in the package form editor.

CAUSE
● Incorrect component length; tolerances defined are too small.

CAUSE
● Component is not in focus during coplanarity measurement.
REMEDY
● Check the focussing during coplanarity measurement; check the IC head Z-axis clamping
473 Temporary drop in pressure
CAUSE
● The compressed air failed during the placement process, the current PCB board is aborted.
REMEDY
● Check compressed air feed; check compressed air sensor.
474 Second gantry in travel range
CAUSE
● While teaching the fiducials (80S), the operator moved the gantries towards each other.
REMEDY
● Move the second gantry out of the travel range of the first gantry.
475 Communication with wafflepack changer faulty
CAUSE
● Interface line to the wafflepack changer defective or not correctly connected; power supply to the
wafflepack changer defective.
REMEDY
● Check interface cable; check power supply.
