4. Click on SelectStandardChip .
• [SelectStandardChip] window opens.
∗ When the same chip data as you want to
mount is in the standard library, take the steps
from 5. to 7. When such data does not exist,
you can edit the currently displayed custom
chip data and save this data as a different
name. In this case, skip to step 8.
5. Choose the chip you want to copy to
the custom library.
6. Click on Copy To Library .
• [SaveChipLibrary] window opens.
7. Enter the name of the chip to be
saved, and click on OK .
• [ChipLibrary] window opens.

When you look down at a chip at 0° of its packing form, the bottom side is the 1st side and then the
2nd side, the 3rd side, the 4th side clockwise. As to the pin No., the leads on the 1st side are called
1, 2, 3 ..... from right to left. Those on the 2nd side are called so from bottom to top, those on the
3rd side are called so from left to right and those on the 4th side are called so from top to bottom.
For example, this lead is the 6th pin on the 3rd side.
