a Clean carefully around the nozzle changers and the feeder area with the vacuum cleaner. Do
not leave loose components lying around in the feeder area.

Keep at least 1 cm away from the feeder modules so as not to damage the component covers.
: Close the protective cover.
: Press the Start button.

Placement may continue on the placement system during the following steps.
Empty waste container
s Pull the waste tape container out of the component cart.
d Empty it into the waste bin.
f Clean around the waste tape container with the vacuum cleaner and then push it back into the
component cart.
: Repeat these "Maintenance work every shift" tasks in every feeder area.

You will need the following tools and consumables for the weekly maintenance tasks:
– Vacuum cleaner
–Waste bin
–Brush
– Scissors
– Soft, lint-free cloths
– Ethyl alcohol
– Magazine with cleaned ceramic nozzles or new nozzles.
There must be no PCBs in the placement system during the following maintenance steps.
: Select "Block manually" (status closed) on the station computer and click on Accept (or Track
1 / Track 2 for the dual conveyor).
Wait until the last PCB is complete and has left the placement system.
The working area is now clear.
: Press the Stop button.
: Open the protective cover.

Take hold of the handle and carefully move the gantry. Do not use too much force.
: Push the gantry over the component table. This will leave your working area clear.
Clean PCB conveyor / sonar BEROs
a Clean the sonar BEROs thoroughly using the vacuum cleaner.
s Use a suitable vacuum cleaner nozzle to remove any loose components from the sonar BERO
unit.
d Use the vacuum cleaner to remove any loose components from all around the PCB conveyor.
Loose components in the PCB conveyor or sonar BERO unit could cause malfunctions.
