A precondition of operating safety is for all locations to be equipped with conveyors.
If there are not enough
feeders available, a guard ("dummy feeder") must be fitted in place of the conveyor.
The following variants can be used:
Item no. 00116820-01 SIPLACE guard for 1 location
Item no. 00116821-01 SIPLACE guard for 6-10 locations
Item no. 00116822-01 SIPLACE guard for 11-20 locations

In order to assure operational safety, Assurance of operational> the following points must be observed without
fail:

Never open either of the two protective covers, if you are not completely familiar with the operation and
functions of the machine! Do not open the protective covers during operation unless you are told to do so
in this User Manual or in the station software dialog.

The key-operated switch may only be unlocked by qualified and trained personnel!
Do not release the key switch during operation unless you are told to do so in this User Manual or in the
station software dialog.

Never bring your head or arms into the travel area of the portal when a station is switched on!
-
No modifications of any type whatsoever may be made where it is not absolutely clear what effect they
would have on the functioning of the unit as a whole!

The stations may only be adjusted, converted or maintained by personnel trained in this!

Only use original spare parts and authorized accessories from Siemens AG. Using other parts will impair
safety and may cancel any liability of Siemens AG for the consequences.

The operating safety of the SMD placement machines can only be guaranteed when the SMD placement
machines are used properly and for the purpose intended and when the provisions of the user's manual
are complied with.

The machine key and the key for the key-operated switch must be kept so that only qualified personnel
have access to them!
-
If work is necessary and there are no adequately trained personnel available in your plant, then do not
fail to call in a service engineer from Siemens AG! No claims of any type that arise on account of incorrect
work that results in damage or consequential damage will be accepted by Siemens AG.

The machine operators may only perform those tasks in which they have been adequately instructed and
which they have completely mastered!

Ensure that you comply with your own national special safety regulations!
