1 Introduction
This instruction manual is a guide or reference work for operating and setting up the
SIPLACE
®
CA4 V2 placement machines.
– The SIPLACE CA4 V2 placement machine is available as a SIPLACE CA4 V2 variant with 4
gantries.
The header of each chapter contains the release and software version, to which this manual ap-
plies.
1.1 Important notes on the instruction manual
1.1.1 Contents and storage of the instruction manual
This instruction manual contains basic information that must be observed when setting up, oper-
ating and maintaining the machine. The service engineers, qualified staff, operators and users
plus system owner must therefore read it before commencing installation and commissioning. The
instructions must be kept permanently accessible where the placement machine is used.
In addition, the user must ensure that the employees have fully understood the contents of the
instruction manual.
1.1.2 Danger notes

Tasks may only be performed by qualified staff who have completed the relevant
training.
Only perform tasks on the placement machine if you have precise knowledge of the
relevant section in the instruction manual.
Observe all warnings, caution notes and hazard notes.
Please also read chapter 2 of this instruction manual through carefully.
