How to replace consumable parts
1. Replacing the leaf spring and roller lock
If a problem is found after checking the nozzle leaf springs and roller locks as described in "1.1.2 Checking
the leaf spring/roller lock" in Chapter 3, the nozzle leaf springs or roller locks must be replaced.
c
CAUTION
As a rule, be sure to replace a pair of components even when only the nozzle leaf spring or roller lock (roller) on one
side deteriorates.
1.1 Replacing nozzle leaf springs (MU head)
The nozzle leaf spring (hereafter "leaf spring") replacement procedure is given below.
e

n
NOTE
When you have this tool, install the leaf springs with this tool.
n
How to use the leaf spring installation tool
The following describes steps continued from Step 2 in "1.1 Replacing nozzle leaf springs (MU head)" in this chapter.
3
Install the leaf springs temporarily.
Loosen the leaf spring mounting bolt 1/4 turn
from its fully closed position to install the leaf
springs temporarily.
4
Insert the tool.
Insert the tool into the nozzle shaft so that
