1.2.4 ANC nozzle attaching/detaching tool
Regarding the machine equipped with a nozzle station (option / hereafter "ANC"), nozzles are detached
manually from the nozzle station for maintenance. In this case, if using the "ANC nozzle attaching/detaching
tool" (hereafter "tool"), up to 40 nozzles can be attached/detached at once.
There are tools for MU head unit and RS head unit. The following describes how to use the tool.

How to detach all nozzles for MU head

Set the tool on the nozzle station.

then open the machine safety cover.
2. Set the tool vertically on the nozzles at
the nozzle station aligning the positions
of nozzles to be detached.
3. Check that the tool is set to nozzles
securely.

Open the nozzle station shutter.
1. Open [Unit] - [Head] screen.
2. Select head unit from "Table Select".
3. Press [Nozzle. Stn Shutter] button to open
the nozzle station shutter.

Raise the tool up.
Raise the tool up vertically and slowly.

Raise the tool up vertically and slowly to avoid the
nozzle tip from hitting the shutter, etc.

CAUTION
If raising the tool up fast and forcibly, nozzles or the
nozzle station may be damaged.

Close the nozzle station shutter.
Press the [Nozzle. Stn Shutter] button again
and close the nozzle station shutter.

Attach nozzles at the nozzle station in the reverse order of detaching.

Check the nozzle setting positions.
Check that other nozzles are not set to the nozzle storage positions and the setting position is correct.

NOTE
See the nozzle placement position label attached in the machine or the machine setting for the nozzle setting
position.

Set the nozzles to the tool.

CAUTION
The positioning pins are in each nozzle storage position at the nozzle station to avoid setting the incorrect type of
nozzle and the incorrect nozzle setting direction. Take precautions about the nozzle setting position and the nozzle
setting direction when setting the nozzles to the tool.

Open the nozzle station shutter.
1. Press the emergency stop button and then open the machine safety cover.
2. Open the [Unit] - [Head] screen and select desired head unit from "Table Select".
3. Press the [Nozzle. Stn Shutter] button to open the nozzle station shutter.

Set the tool on the nozzle station.
1. Set the tool that the nozzles were set in Step 2 to the relevant position of the nozzle station.
2. Check that the nozzles are set securely to the nozzle station.

Close the nozzle station shutter.
Press the [Nozzle. Stn Shutter] button again and close the nozzle station shutter.

Raise the tool up.
1. Raise the tool up vertically and slowly and detach the nozzles from the tool.
2. Close the machine safety cover and cancel the emergency stop.
