8. TYPE CLASSIFICATION OF PARTS
(TABLE 4: GX3 PART TYPE GROUPING)
Type Part type
TYPE0 Square chip parts, Melf, SOT, and other non-lead parts (except for 1005 chip mount
with #101 nozzle) for laser recognition, and to be mounted by #101, #102, or #103
nozzle.
TYPE1 1005 chip to be mounted with #101 nozzle.
TYPE2 Chip parts (tantalum capacitor, aluminum electrolytic capacitor, etc.), non-lead large
parts (except for BGA) for laser recognition, and to be mounted with #104, #105, or
#106 nozzle. Normally, mounted with #104 nozzle.
TYPE3 Lead parts for laser recognition, and to be mounted with #104 nozzle. This is also
applied to lead parts other than SOT to be mounted with #102 or #103 nozzle.
Normally,SOP8, SOP14/16 narrow type, and TSOP narrow type.
TYPE4 Lead parts for laser recognition, and to be mounted with #105 nozzle. PLCC and BGA
for laser recognition, and to be mounted with #106 nozzle. Normally, SOP14/16 wide
type, SOP 20/24/28 and TSOP wide type, SOJ, and PLCC.
TYPE5 QFP for laser recognition, and to be mounted with #106 nozzle. This is also applied to
QFP to be mounted with #104 or #105 nozzle.
TYPE6 Vision recognized parts to be mounted with #201, #202, or #203 nozzle. Normally,
SOP, TSOP, and SOJ.
TYPE7 Vision recognized parts to be mounted with #204 nozzle. Normally, QFP, PLCC
except for 18 pin type, and BGA.
