6.2.5.2 FireWire Card
The firewire card is a Unibrain Fireboard Blue PCI Express card with 2 firewire connectors for the
vision system.

6.3 CONTROLLER POWER MODULE (CPM)
The CPM connects to the NuMotion control card in the machine controller using 2 fibre optic links.
The information coming from the machine controller is translated and the control signal directed to
either; one of the EPM’s or one of the ESIO’s. Feedback from sensors and positional readers are
fed back to the NuMotion control card via the fibre optic link.
