Save the modified DCA.MA file.
Close the editor.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must restart the station computer before the changes to the DCA.MA file can take effect.
Shut down the station computer.
PLEASE NOTE:
Do not just switch off the computer. Use ’Exit’ from the ’Start’ menu to shut down WINDOWS. If you do not
do this, you will lose your data because it was not saved. It is also possible to damage your file system.
Reboot the station computer.
The new machine data will be loaded when you restart the program.
Notes on editing the DCA.MA file:
*1) Exclusive OR function:
Only one function may be used at any given time. If ‘Wait time during placement’ is active, the surf tape
feeder function must be deactivated.
PLEASE NOTE
The ’Wait time during placement’ function is a special option and must be switched off during placement
from surf tape feeders.
*2) The power stage for picking up components from the surf tape feeder module can be converted from the
standard value 0 (= power stage 1) to the values set in the KRAFT.MA file under power stage 14.
Power record 14 in the axis record for the Z axis concerned (SP head, IC head) is reserved for this set-
ting.
*3) The time required to extend the pusher needle depends on the travel of the selected pusher needle.
Check chapter 16 of the feeder module operating instructions for setting the pusher needle travel.
