Faults
and
Protec
tion
Custom fault Supports custom faults, alarms, and prompts.
Historical fault log Supports up to six fault logs.
Fault code, fault subcode, operation data, and fault time
Load monitoring You can configure the normal operation range of the drive based on
actual operating conditions. When the corresponding range is exceeded,
you can define faults and alarms as needed.
Automatic Fault Reset The fault can be reset automatically. If the number of automatic resets is
exhausted, the fault cannot be reset. The fault whitelist and blacklist can
be configured as needed.
Automatic restart upon fault After a fault occurs, automatic fault reset and restart are supported. When
the number of automatic resets is exhausted, the fault can no longer be
reset.
The fault whitelist and blacklist can be configured freely.
Fault protection Ground fault upon power-on, drive overcurrent, drive overload, motor
overload, drive overvoltage, drive undervoltage, drive overtemperature,
input phase loss, output phase loss, communication fault, current
detection fault, motor load loss, motor step loss, motor stall, motor
overspeed, motor overtemperature, current loop error, excessive speed
deviation, demagnetization protection, overspeed protection, excessive
zero drift, EEPROM read fault, motor parameter auto-tuning fault, ground
fault, and stall in SVC
Automatic Check Supports self-test on the drive and motor, IGBT shoot-through, current
sensor sampling error, ground fault, phase loss, and phase-to-phase
short circuit.
Environ
ment
Operating location Indoors and free from direct sunlight, conductive dust, oil mist, corrosive
gas, flammable gas, vapors, water drips, and salty elements
Altitude For altitudes equal to or below 1000 m, derating is not required. For
altitude ranging from 1000 m to 3000 m, derate 1% for every additional
100 m. For altitude above 3000 m, contact Inovance.
Ambient temperature Storage temperature: -40°C to +60°C
Transportation temperature: -20°C to +60°C
Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C. For temperatures above 50°C,
derate 2.5% for every additional 1°C. The maximum temperature is 60°C.
Humidity < 95% RH, without condensation
Overvoltage category OVCIII
Pollution degree PD2
IP rating IP40 (IP20 for power supply distribution wiring and capacitor vent)
Protection class Class I
Grid type TN, TT, star type

Cable Main circuit
cable
The recommended cable lug manufacturer is
Zhejiang Kise. For details of recommended lugs, see
"12.9.3 Terminal
"
on page 128
.
It is recommended to use
symmetrical shielded cables as
input and output main circuit
cables. Compared with four-core
cables, symmetrical shielded
cables can reduce electromagnetic
radiation in the whole drive
system. It is recommended that
power cables also use symmetrical
shielded cables.
Control circuit
cable
All control circuit cables must be shielded cables. Use separate shielded cables for
different analog signals. It is recommended to use shielded twisted pair (STP) cables as
digital signal cables.
Extension cable MDCAB 01013008 All models The standard 8-conductor network
cable can be used to connect to the
SOP-20-810 through the network
port or connect to the
commissioning software installed
on the computer through the relay
mode of the SOP-20-810.
