(4) Lift the suppressor and remove the cover tape in the horizontal direction
from the peeling section.
Notice
Do not remove the cover tape forcibly pulling it.
If the cover tape is deformed and passes through the peeling
section, then the peeling section might become deformed, causing
a pick-up error.

(5) Turn the tape reel and take-up the tape on the tape reel.

2.4 Remove the Cover Tape
The amount of housing in the cover tape housing section is as much as about one
and half small reels. Whenever the tape is to be replaced, or spliced, remove the
cover tape from the cover tape housing section.
Notice
When the cover tape housing section is lled with the cover tape and no
more tape can be pressed in, the roll-in gear will be locked, which might
cause malfunction of or damage to the tape feeder.
Procedure
(1) Open the cover tape outlet cover and pull the cover tape from the cover tape
housing section.
