7.4.1 Description of Maintenance in Each Section
Here the maintenance cycle for each section of the tape feeder.
GT-38080 is given as the example in the description of the procedure.
This procedure applies to almost all the tape feeders, except for those with special
descriptions.
How to Locate the Check, Cleaning, Lubrication and Adjustment Spots
Chute
Every week Cleaning
Lift the suppressor and clean it with a rag
soaked in alcohol.
(a) When the chute is cleaned,
remove the Magnetic Plate.
If the tape is set with any foreign
substance attached, it might
cause a suppressor deformation
or pick-up error.
