6. File Structure
6.1 VPC File Structure
All directories and files important for the VPC server are in
c:\viscom\project\VPC.
6.1.1 The Help directory
The "Online Help" can be found in the directory "Help". It can be started from
the program at any time as follows:
The menu point "System info" gives information about the system and the
current VPC software version.

6.1.2 Bin directory
All the useable programs of the VPC server are in the bin directory. The file
VPC.exe contains the main program. The VPC utilities - described in detail in
the appendix - can also be found here.
6.1.3 Data directory
The entire data environment of the VPC server is found in the data directory.
6.1.4 The vpc.ini file
The file vpc.ini is the VPC server parameter file. In this file, VPC server settings
can be modified. But they are not active until the VPC program is restarted. A
detailed description of the parameters is given in the appendix.

6.1.5 The vpc.txt file
The file vpc.txt is used for language assignment. In the section "Settings" in
vpc.ini, the parameter "Language" can be set to the desired language. Menus
etc. are then displayed from the text file in the selected language.
This file is automatically renewed with each update.
6.1.6 The si_spc.lwtx file
In this file, the texts that appear when the warning limit in diagram type 3
(Pareto) is exceeded are defined.
6.1.7 The VPC.template file
In this file, the configurations for the different templates are predefined. This file
is pre-configured and should not be changed.
