This manual is used as a maintenance guide. Please be sure to read this manual thoroughly before servicing
the mounter.
After reading this manual, keep it handy so that it will be available at any time.

mirror with extra caution.
z Dangerous operations are noted in two levels: Warning and Caution.
Warning:
Failing to comply with the instructions suggested in a “Warning” will lead to a fatal injury or a death. (A
“fatal injury” means an injury, a scald, an electric shock, or a bone fracture,
leading to a persisting aftereffect, also means one requiring a long-term hospital treatment as an inpatient or
an outpatient.) An example follows:

When performing teach entry in which driving axes are allowed to move, do not stick head,

Safety Guidelines
To prevent injury or machine damage in using the mounter, follow the safety guidelines stated below:
General
Only trained personnel, who are thoroughly familiar with the mounter, must use the mounter and enter the
work area.
To prevent electric shock and machine damage, never do tasks such as moving the machine, connect the
machine to other equipment, or servicing the machine when the power is on.
To prevent electric shock and machine damage, never touch terminals of electric components when the
power is on. Electric-shock labels are affixed to the machine covers under which the live electrical parts are
placed.
To prevent electric shock, ground the mounter.
Press immediately the emergency stop switch when the machine operates improperly.
To prevent electric shock, do not operate the mounter by wet hands.
Operation
The head assembly of the mounter moves at high speeds. To prevent injuries, do not enter head, hands and
a part of your body inside the operating mounter.
To prevent electric shock and machine damage, do not operate the mounter with live parts exposed.

Turn off the main switch, if power failure occurs, to prevent sudden restarting that may cause personal
