General Safety Rules
CHAPTER 1 General Safety Rules
1.1 General
For the correct and safe use of the FCM Multiflex, it is essential that all personnel
follow generally accepted safety procedures in addition to the safety precautions
specified in this operating manual. The manuals has warning and cautionary
statements throughout the whole manual where applicable. Warnings and
cautionary statements and/or symbols are present on the system where applicable.
1.2 Personnel Qualification
Operation, adjustment, maintenance and repair of the FCM Multiflex may only be
carried out by qualified and trained personnel.
The following training levels are defined:
• Operator level.
• User or supervisor level.
• Maintenance or Service level 1.
Maintenance or Service level 2.

1.3 Basic Safety Rules
When the FCM Multiflex is switched off by the main switch, this switch must always
be locked by a padlock!
Do not use the machine in an environment where flammable gasses are present or
where the dus class exceeds 100,000 (average industrial environment).
1.3.1 Safety Compliance
The safety of the FCM Multiflex complies with CE directives.
