Component Length and Width
Once you have determined the components sides definition (see section before),
you have to know what component sides are defined as length respectively width.
See following table for determination.

side automatically is defined as length !
Component Body and Outline
Depending on the component type, measurements are done component package
body-based or component package outline-based. See FIGURE 6-20.

Lead Group
A lead group is defined as a number of in-line arranged leads with identical
dimensions and identical pitch; see FIGURE 6-21.

Leading Lead (first lead)
To determine what lead from a lead group is defined as the first one, the leading
lead, following approach is valid:
First find out what is the components Nort side, East side etc. (see before);
Looking from West to East, the first lead you meet in the lead group(s) is the
leading lead. This goes for the North and the South side;
