Plug in the cable as shown

on picture to have a

rough idea of the correct length.

Make sure the hybrid cable does not touch the

chassis.

Connect new hybrid cable

Take the hybrid cable as close as possible along

the hybrid cable Z (1).

Make sure again, the cable does not touch the

chassis (2).

Tighten the two screws of the cable clamp (3).

Plug in the remaining cables (4).

Screw on the two cable shields (5). Mak

e sure

the lower cable lug does not touch the chassis.

Bend the lugs against the motor.

Fix all the cables and plugs with cable ties for a

compact assembly and ready for movements.

Continue exchanging the cable

Loosen and remove the two screws of the cable

clamping (1).

Cut off the cable ties and remove them (2).

Remove the defective hybrid cable.

Place the new hybrid cable into position.

ount all the clamping parts as they were

before.

Screw in the clamping screws but do not tighten

them.

Check again for proper cable routing illustrated

on the picture.

Tighten the screws of the cable clamping (1).

Fix the new hybrid cable by using cable ties (2).

Finalize cable exchange

Loosen the shield terminals by hand and remove

the cables of the hybrid cable which has to be

exchanged. It is possible that other cables use

the same shield terminal, if so do not remove

them.

Remove the two power cables (48 V) from the

connector which has to be exchanged

(brown/white) by means of a screwdriver.

Be careful, between the

wires a remaining

voltage (< 48 V) can still be present.

Loosen and remove the two interlinked

connectors.

Loosen and remove the two cables (r

ed/black)

from the connector of the old and of the new

hybrid cable by means of a screwdriver (because

of many other cables using the same connector

it is easier to exchange the two cables than the

whole connector).

Place the two cables (red/black) of the

new

hybrid cable at exact the same connector

positions (black at pin 7 / red at pin 10)

Plug in and lock the two interlinked connectors

of the new hybrid cable (the connector with the

larger number of cables in the upper slot, the

one with less number of cables in the lower slot).

-place the two power cables (48 V)

(brown/white) by means o

f a screwdriver (same

position as power cables of adjacent connector,

pin 22 and 24).

Clamp the cables of the new hybrid cable with

the shield

terminals and tighten the screws by

hand. It is possible that other cables use the

same shield terminal, if so re

-connect them as

well.

Closing tasks

• Make sure all the cables are fitted correctly. They should not touch the door if closed.

• Make sure free movement is allowed for the hybrid cable along the whole driving range of the

X axis (no collision, no touching the chassis).
