To refit the contact assembly to the switch body, using the two keyway slots, push the two units to-
gether until they click into place.

4.1.1.9 Lower Side Panels
To remove the lower side panels, carry out the following:
► Remove the corresponding safety cover (as detailed previously).
► Open the front printhead cover.
► Using a 4mm Allen key, undo the four captive screws (1).

► Tilt the top of the panel away from the printer and lift the panel clear, taking care not to dam-
age the earth cable.
► To disconnect the E Stop from the lower left side panel (4), turn the latch (3) anti-clockwise
and pull the contact assembly (2) away from the E Stop body.

► To disconnect the ESD bonding point locate the inline filter and remove the spade connector.

4.1.2 Rear Panel Labels
The rear cover has five labels (one is a general safety label and not detailed here). The labels are
used to inform users of printer safety, delivery status and environmental condition.

4.1.2.1 Fifth Leg
This label warns the user to retract the fifth leg after the printer has been levelled.
4.1.2.2 Environmental-Substance Release
This label complies with RoHS (China) legislation. It indicates that hazardous substances, present
in the printer, are not released for at least an industry agreed time period. The number (15) within
the symbol indicates the number of years before the substance may be released.
In the E By DEK printer, the items listed in the RoHS certificates SJ/T 11363-2006 supplied with
the printer, contain lead.
