2.8 Safety Warning Labels
Safety warning labels on the UV-9 Cure Module point out potentially hazardous areas and remind
personnel to take necessary safety precautions. Table 2-2 describes safety warning labels that may be on
the cure module.
WARNING! CAUTION!
Comply with all safety warning labels or serious injury to personnel or damage to
the cure module may occur. Worn or damaged labels should be replaced with new
labels having the same part number.

cause serious injury to hands or fingers. Keep
hands away from moving parts.
Disconnect and lock out power before
servicing.
Radiation
Hazard
This label warns of the presence of ultraviolet
radiation.
Protect eyes and skin from exposure to UV
light.
Electrical
(Shock Hazard)
Warns personnel of a high voltage component
that can cause shock, burn, or death.
Use extreme caution when working in or
around these areas.
Disconnect and lock out power
before servicing.
Protective Earth
Ground
This symbol identifies where protective earth
ground is located on the system.
3 Phase
Alternating
Current
This symbol states the system requires a three
phase alternating current source.
