2.13.2 Low Voltage Indicator Light
An indicator LED on the operator’s control panel warns the operator of conditions preventing UV-9 Cure
Module operation.
2.13.3 Light Beacon
The light beacon mounted on the top of the UV-9 Cure Module is a device that displays system status.
The beacon has three different colored lights, that can be constantly ON or flashing, and a buzzer. See
Table 2-3 for an explanation of each color indication. See 5.7.3 Alarms for recovery instructions.
Table 2-3 Beacon Color Indications
Beacon Color System Status
GREEN
Blinking: The UV-9 Cure Module is ready but the conveyor is empty.
Steady: The cure module is ready and a board is on the conveyor.
ORANGE
Blinking: The UV-9 Cure Module is waiting for production and the UV
lamp is in standby.
Steady: The cure module is in the stabilization step (start up).
RED
Blinking: Alarm not acknowledged.
Steady: The UV-9 Cure Module is in an alarm condition. See the active
alarm(s) on the Alarm screen.
BUZZER The buzzer sounds when a default appears
2.14 Transportation and Storage
Long term storage of the UV-9 Cure Module should be on the handling pallet protected from humidity,
bad weather, and temperature extremes.

Before performing any of the UV-9 Cure Module installation procedures in this section, please review the
information provided in Section 2 – Safety.

instructions in this document and all other related documentation.
3.3 Facility Requirements
To ensure optimal performance and safety, it is necessary to install the UV-9 Cure Module in a facility
that meets or exceeds the requirements listed in 8.3 Facility Requirements.
If you have any questions about facility requirements, please contact Nordson ASYMTEK Technical
Support.
