1.1.2 Component tape to be reloaded
Care must be taken when reloading the unloaded component tape used for Auto loading feeder. The portion
where the cover tape has been already cut with blade on tape guide is unavailable. If the cover tape is
delaminated even a little, the component tape is unavailable.

1.1.3 Precautions about cutting position of component tape
• If cutting a component tape at the specified position and the pocket is cut, avoid the pocket to cut
the component tape.
• Do not cut a pocket and a component tape at the position where more than half of feed hole
remains. Otherwise an operation error may occur.
• Do not cut a component tape obliquely.
• Make sure to cut from the pocket side when cutting a paper component tape.

Cut a paper component tape with specified tape cut jig (scissors).

Release the locking lever.
Slide the locking lever upward gripping the handles lightly to release the locking lever.

Set a component tape.
1. Check the pitch of component tape to be cut, as the tape set position is different between 2mm
and 4mm pitches.
2. The paper tape should be set illustrated below to be cut always from pocket side.
