Auto loading feeder information by feeder type
The "Auto loading feeder information by feeder type" is applied for the component that is not registered
on the "Auto loading feeder information by component".

1st row
The version of Auto Loading Feeder Capability list is indicated on the header.

2nd row
The "Feeder type" is indicated on the 1st column. The "Auto loading feeder" is indicated on the 2nd
column.

3rd row and later
Register Auto Loading Feeder Capability list per feeder type.
Enter the feeder type on the 1st column.
Enter Auto loading feeder capability information on the 2nd column.
Enter "TRUE" when permitting to use Auto loading feeder and enter "FALSE" when not permitting to
use Auto loading feeder for Auto loading feeder capability information.

The "Parts Name" on the 1st column, "Auto loading feeder" on the 2nd column, and "Guide Size"
on the 3rd column are indicated on the header.

Register Auto loading feeder capability information per component.
Enter the component name on the 1st column. Enter Auto loading feeder capability information on
the 2nd column.

NOTE
When specifying the tape guide type (2S/S/M/L/LL), enter it on the 3rd column.
When not specifying the tape guide type, the appropriate tape guide type by component dimension is indicated on the
feeder viewer or Setup Assignment.

Storage location for Auto Loading Feeder Capability list (setting path)
Auto Loading Feeder Capability list needs to be stored in specific location. Select [Board Explorer] -
[Maintenance] - [Option] - [Option Setting]. Open the "Function" tab and perform the setting.

Setting the path

Open the option setting screen.
Select the "Function" tab from the [Board Explorer] - [Maintenance] - [Option] - [Option Setting].

Check the required items.
Tick the checkbox for "Use Auto Loading Feeder Capability list".

Set the path for Auto Loading Feeder Capability list.
The default setting is Common\Opt\ALFPartsList.csv.

Save the setting by pressing the [OK] button.
When edited "Auto Loading Feeder Capability list", save and then close it.

1.2.2 Updating Auto Loading Feeder Capability list on board editor
Auto Loading Feeder Capability list can be updated with the board editor or parts database editor. Note that
following limitations apply to updating.

Limitations
• The guide size is not supported and it appears blank.
• The component name registered on Auto Loading Feeder Capability list cannot be deleted.
• The setting of feeder type (size) capability is not supported.
• The function to check the registered information on Auto Loading Feeder Capability list is not
provided.
• All information on Auto Loading Feeder Capability list cannot be checked.

Auto loading feeder capability of components on opened board (or component database) can be checked.

Updating on component screen of board editor

Display the component list.
Select "Parts" on the board editor.

Display the context menu.
1. Select the row(s) of component(s) to be set.
2. Right-click the mouse to display the context menu.

Set "Register to Auto Loading Feeder Capability List (A)".
Select "Available (A)" or "Unusable (U)" from the sub menu for "Register to Auto Loading Feeder
Capability List (A)".
