4.5 Component tape cannot be loaded/unloaded.
Error : Component tape cannot be loaded by pressing [LOAD] button.
Cause
1. The top of component tape does not reach at the sprocket.
2. The top of component tape reaches at the sensor 2.
Countermeasure for cause 1
When the top of component tape does not reach at the sprocket, pull out the loading unit and
component tape and insert the component tape set position more.
Countermeasure for cause 2
When the top of component tape reaches at the sensor 2, lower the clamp lever and pull out the
component tape to where is not detected by sensor 2.

NOTE
When the machine is operated or a component tape is at the position of sensor 3, component tape cannot be unloaded.

supplied to Auto loading feeder.

Remove remaining component tape by detaching the tape guide as needed.

Do not detach parts other than tape guide when removing remaining component tape. Make sure to return the original
tape guide to the original position after detaching tape guide.

4.5.1 Checking sensor status
When the component tape cannot be loaded/unloaded even after performing countermeasures previously
described, open [Unit] - [Feeder] screen to check if sensors operate correctly.
Exit Sensor
Detach the tape guide and press the sensor with finger.
Middle Sensor
Insert a component tape from the rear of Auto loading feeder (loading unit side) 15 cm or more.
Entrance Sensor
Set a component tape to the loading unit.

CAUTION
Make sure to return the detached tape guide to the original position after checking sensor.
