Check that the component tape is set correctly.
The component tape is set correctly if the followings are applied.
1. The yellow LED lights up for 1 second upon detecting tape insertion.
2. The yellow and green LED flash for 4 seconds simultaneously.
3. The green LED turns into lighting upon completing tape setting.

2.1.2 With IT Option
This section describes about the procedure for the machine installed with IT Option software.

Scan the component tape ID.
Scan the component tape ID to prepare for loading the component tape.

Set the component tape on the same position as displayed on screen.
1. Check that the tape set position of component tape to be set and the position displayed on the
"Production" tab or the "Setup assignment" screen are the same.
2. Set the tape reel to preset holder.

Pull the loading unit forward.
1. Check that LEDs on the operation panel of Auto loading feeder are flashing continuously.
2. While pressing the tape clamp lever, pull the loading unit forward. Do not pull the tape
together.

NOTE
If setting component tape newly, go on to step 5.

Move down the component tape in operation.
1. The clamp unit opens by releasing finger from the tape clamp lever.
2. Move down the component tape in operation.

Set the component tape to be added to the loading unit.
1. While pressing the tape clamp lever, insert the component tape to be added to the loading
unit.
2. While pressing the tape clamp lever, insert the top of component tape to the set area as shown
in the figure below.

Insert the loading unit into the feeder.
Keep pressing down the tape clamp lever and insert the loading unit into the feeder. Then release the
tape clamp lever.
