1. Introduction
1.1 About This Manual
This manual describes how to use the parts vefirication system on CP-7-series machines.
1.2 Terminology
Term
Verification This function verifies that the correct parts are set on the
device table (parts which the current recipe requires).
Device check This function checks each device status, verifying that it is
ready for production
HT Handy Terminal
Off-machine changeover This refers to device table setups which are performed with
the device table off the machine. A spare device table can
be set up off the machine for the next production while the
machine is still performing the current production. The setup
and device check are completed in advance on the spare
device table, thus shortening the time required for changeovers.
Next production
verification
The next recipe scheduled for production can be selected,
and verification can be performed in advance for that recipe,
thereby reducing the changeover time.
Description
FIDL This is the Feeder ID number.
DID While the device comment indicates the part type, the DID
represents the ID of each individual reel. Therefore, different
DIDs must be specified for each reel even if the part type is the
same (same device comment) at all these reels.

2. Verification
2.1 Objective
When performing changeover, part reels must be changed based on the parts specified in the
recipes. At such times, there is a danger of the operator setting the parts in the wrong feeder
slot.
The verification system is designed to avoid such human errors, resulting in the following
benefits:
• Defective panels caused by incorrectly placed parts are kept to a minimum.
• Changeover time is drastically reduced.
