4.3.2 Security Setting
You can manage the user information.
Since user information is shared between LNB and NPM, you can use this function to set the
information. LNB uses this information when logged in from LWS. NPM, on the other hand, uses
this information for general operation of the machine.

Choose [Security] in [Advanced] from
the menu.

The <User List> screen is displayed.
The following describe how to register, delete, and change the user.

A) New user registration
You can register a new user.

Click [Register] on the <User List>
screen.

The <User Information Registration> screen is
displayed.

Enter the data, and click [Register].
•
Items with (*) mark are compulsory input
items.
•
Clicking [Back] returns to the <User List>
screen.
•
The message of user information registration
completion appears.

Click [OK].

About the group
“System administrator,” “Operator,” and “Engineer” are set in the group combo box. The right of
each group is as follows.
Group
Right
System administrator
Both tool and maintenance functions are available.
Operator/Engineer
Tool functions are available. Maintenance functions are hidden from the
menu, and not available.

About the mode (the machine operation right)
The correspondence between each mode and group and the machine operation right are as
follows.
Group

Engineer
Choose ‘Engineer’ mode.
All operations on the machine become available.
Operator Choose one of the ‘A–E’ modes.
The A–E modes have the operation right specified by the machine, and the
operator is given the corresponding operation right.
For the machine operation right, refer to the instruction manual of NPM.
