4.8 Restore to Factory Defaults
You can restore the LNB setting and data to factory defaults.
Be aware that once it is initialized, the data will be lost and cannot be recovered.

Choose [Restore Factory
Configuration] from the menu.

The <Restore Factory Configuration> screen
is displayed.

Click [Restore Factory Configuration].
•
The confirmation dialog opens.

Click [OK].
•
The reconfirmation dialog opens.

Click [OK].
•
When the preparation for initialization is
complete, the message of initialization
preparation completion appears.

After this, LNB is restarted automatically.
Because the screen will not be refreshed after
LNB is restarted, wait for about one minute
and then log in again.

4.9 Self-diagnosis
The self-diagnosis function is a tool to verify that LNB is operating properly.
If, for instance, production data could not be downloaded because of a communication error in
the machine, this tool enables you to search for the problem.
When you click the start button of the self-diagnosis function, verification starts automatically,
and the indication lamp of the error-detected part turns red. The following table shows the
solutions to communication errors.

4.9.1 Connection Check
Connection check verifies the connection status of LNB, machines, and DGS.

Choose [Connection Check] in
[Self-check] from the menu.

The <Connection Check> screen is displayed.

Click [Start].
•
Connection check starts.
•
The DGS and machines whose IP addresses
are acquired are displayed, and the progress
bar of connection check starts moving.
•
Connection check is complete.
•
The check result is displayed.
