Log data to send to our customer service can be created automatically.

Choose [Collect Log for Debugging]
from the menu.

The <Collect Log for Debugging> screen is
displayed.

After specifying the date range for log
creation, click [Create a log for
Panasonic analysis.].

The confirmation dialog opens.

Click [OK].
•
The progress of log data creation is displayed.
•
When the progress reaches 100%, the file
download dialog opens.

Click [Save].
•
A dialog prompts for the destination to save.
Specify the destination, and download it.
•
If the file download dialog does not open, click
the link shown left that appears on the
<Collect Log for Debugging> screen.
This concludes the procedure for downloading the log
for debug.
After downloading the log for debug, write the log to a
CD, and send it to us.

4.8 Restore to Factory Defaults
You can restore the LNB setting and data to factory defaults.
Be aware that once it is initialized, the data will be lost and cannot be recovered.

Choose [Restore Factory
Configuration] from the menu.

The <Restore Factory Configuration> screen
is displayed.

Click [Restore Factory Configuration].
•
The confirmation dialog opens.

Click [OK].
•
The reconfirmation dialog opens.

Click [OK].
•
When the preparation for initialization is
complete, the message of initialization
preparation completion appears.

After this, LNB is restarted automatically.
Because the screen will not be refreshed after
LNB is restarted, wait for about one minute
and then log in again.

4.9 Self-diagnosis
The self-diagnosis function is a tool to verify that LNB is operating properly.
If, for instance, production data could not be downloaded because of a communication error in
the machine, this tool enables you to search for the problem.
When you click the start button of the self-diagnosis function, verification starts automatically,
and the indication lamp of the error-detected part turns red. The following table shows the
solutions to communication errors.
