FCP IV-3 Operation
• Action of the Function Keys
TIMES :Enter any number from 1 to 9 inclusive to set the number of
recovery attempts, and press the [CR] key to execute the
change.
CHANGE :The machine automatically goes into auto-recovery mode when
the power is first turned on. The recovery mode changes every
time this key is pressed.
Auto-recovery:Recovery automatically takes place when an
error has occurred. If the set number of times
recovery is to take place is exceeded, the
machine stops automatically. “Auto-recovery”
and the set number is displayed.…
Error stop :Machine operation stops if an error, such as a
vision processing or pick-up error occurs.
“Error stop” is displayed in yellow.
Error pass :Machine continues to operate if an error occurs.
“Error pass” is displayed in red.

time. Each table operates for a
separate program.

Note: Except for the use of the D RESUPPLY command on Page
554/000, device tables change only during automatic
operation. Device tables also change after the table mode has
been changed in the same manner as during automatic
operation.

MCS : Press to alternate the communication mode
with the MCS 30 computer between the
following two settings:
Local: Only Status data, Proper data and
programs can be sent from the MCS 30
computer.
Off Line: The FCP IV-3 can send production data
to the MCS 30 computer.
Note : The communication mode setting is saved when the power
supply is turned off. The communication mode can also be
changed by changing the Status data.
