Chapter 2 Details of Proper DataPart 4
2. Details of Proper Data
The following symbols are used after the Proper data values.
✩: Varies from machine to machine. Must be measured.
❈: Cannot be changed by the user.
#: Can be changed by the user.
@: Machine automatically changes this. (Sometimes the user can also.)
$: Not currently in use.
The meaning of each Proper data item is described in this chapter. Please refer
to this chapter when setting Proper data at the MCS 30 computer.
Detailed Explanation
1: ID_Code[8] ASCII CODE #
This is a user selected ID code.
Here, an ASCII code is entered, and this becomes a password. There is no
standard setting. Choose a number up to 8 digits.
2: Language English: Japanese: French #
This sets the language used on the display monitor. After changing this
setting, the user must turn the power off, and restart the machine before the
change will take effect. Generally, the setting is Japanese in Japan and
English elsewhere. French is not supported.
3: Red_Light 0000 0000 0000 0000 #
This sets the conditions under which the red light on the signal tower will
turn on (input as a 16 bit binary mask pattern). The standard setting is
0000 0100 0000 0000.
4: Yellow_Light 0000 0000 0000 0000 #
This sets the conditions under which the yellow light on the signal tower
will turn on (input as a 16 bit binary mask pattern). The standard setting is
0000 0011 0010 0100.
5: Blue_Light 0000 0000 0000 0000 #
This sets the conditions under which the blue light on the signal tower will
turn on (input as a 16 bit binary mask pattern). The standard setting is
0000 0011 0010 0100.
6: Red_Flash 0000 0000 0000 0000 #
This sets the conditions under which the red light on the signal tower will
flash (input as a 16 bit binary mask pattern). The standard setting is
0000 0000 0000 1000.
