Purpose
The approval defines the "time horizon" for the material reuse. Only approved setups are taken into ac
-
count. It is therefore important to make sure that there are always enough setups approved, so that ma
-
terial reuse can take place. It may also be advisable to hold back setup approvals. For example, if you
already have a high level of material reuse and additional approvals would lead to a scarcity of feeder
capacity and/or space on the AFP hardware (feeder rack or docking station).
Communication with the systems involved i.e. stock picking and configuration only takes place once ap
-
proval has been given.
As soon as stock picking or configuration has started, changes to the jobs and setups involved are re
-
stricted.
► Go to the View toolbar and select the Approval icon.
⇨ Switches over to the Approval view.
