Servo Alarm
Cause and Remedy
Ground fault occurred at the servo motor outputs (U, V, and
W phases) of the servo amplifier.
(Cause 1) Power input wires and servo motor output wires are
in contact at main circuit terminal block (TE1).
(Remedy) Connect correctly.
(Cause 2) Sheathes of servo motor power cables deteriorated,
resulting in ground fault.
(Remedy) Change the cable.
24 Main circuit error
(Cause 3) Main circuit of servo amplifier failed.
[Checking Method]: Alarm (24) occurs if the servo is
switched on after disconnecting the
U, V and W power cables from the
servo amplifier.
(Remedy) Change the servo amplifier.
Absolute position data in error
(Cause 1) Battery voltage low
(Cause 2) Battery cable or battery is faulty.
(Remedy) Change battery. Always make home position
setting again.
Power was switched on for the first time in the absolute
position detection system.
25 Absolute
position erase
(Cause 3) Super capacitor of the absolute position encoder is
not charged.
(Remedy) After leaving the alarm occurring for a few
minutes, switch power off, then on again.
Always make home position setting again.

Servo Alarm
Cause and Remedy
The initial magnetic pole detector did not work normally.
(Cause 1) A collision was caused.
(Remedy) Review the composition of the machine.
(Cause 2) The accuracy is low in detecting the initial magnetic
pole.
(Remedy) Review the setting of Parameter No. 97 (Magnetic
Pole Detection Voltage Level LPWM).
(Cause 3) Defective Wiring for U, V, and W
(Remedy) Review the wire distribution of U, V, and W.
(Cause 4) The resolution of the linear scale signal is different
from the specified one.
(Remedy) Check how the linear scale is mounted.
27 Initial Magnetic
Pole Detection
Error
(Cause 5) The limit switch is not working.
(Remedy) Connect the limit switch correctly.
Set Parameter No. 57 to turn on the limit switch
forcibly.
The margin of the linear scale has deteriorated.
(Cause 1) The temperature of the linear scale is too high.
(Remedy) Check the temperature of the linear scale and
inquire the details of the linear scale to the maker.
28 Linear Scale
Error 2
(Cause 2) The signal level of the linear scale went down.
(Remedy) Check how the linear scale is mounted.

Cause and Remedy
The linear scale emitted an alarm.
(Cause 1) The speed of the linear scale exceeded the allowable
range.
(Remedy) Change the speed of the linear scale in the
allowable range.
(Cause 2) Some noises are mixed.
(Remedy) Take some countermeasures against noises.
(Cause 3) Alarm from Linear Scale
(Remedy) Inquire the details of the remedial procedures to
the maker of the linear scale.
2A Scale Error 1
(Cause 4) The scale and the detection head are not mounted
correctly in place.
(Remedy) Position the scale and the detection head
correctly.
Permissible regenerative power of the built-in regenerative
brake resistor or regenerative brake option is exceeded.
(Cause 1) Mismatch between used regenerative brake option
and parameter No. 2 setting
(Remedy) Set correctly.
30 Regenerative
error
(Cause 2) Built-in regenerative brake resistor or regenerative
brake option is not connected.
(Remedy) Connect correctly.
