2.3.5 Master Nozzle Level Offset
• Procedure for Teaching Operation
(1) Use the master nozzle for which the placement and pickup heights are measured.
Attach the master nozzle to the nozzle No. 1 position.
(2) Select one of the [1], [2], [3], and [4] buttons in the "Select head" group box of the
"MASTER NOZZLE LEVEL OFFSET" window and confirm that "1" is set in the
"Nozzle No." text box in the "Designate Nozzle" group box. (Operation Sequence:
[MAINT.] Button → [TEACHING] Button → [OTHERS] Button → [MA NOZ LVL
OFST] Button)
(3) Select the [Teach Start] button and press the [START] button.
Follow the same procedure for "[1] through [4]" in the "Select head" group box.
When it is checked if the linear measure sensor is dirty or not and the checking
results in "NG (No Good)", it is required to check how it is stained or nicked.
(4) Select the [End] button.
The "Confirmation to Saving" dialog box opens. Select the [Yes] button.
The teaching session is terminated.
• The offsets are entered in the "L (Height)" text boxes in the "Master Nozzle Level" tab
sheet. (Operation Sequence: [SUPV] Button → [EDIT] Button → [SYSTEM] Button

2.3.6 Nozzle Position Offset
• Procedure for Teaching Operation
(1) Enter and save the data to be used as the nozzle data.
Set the nozzle IDs to be used in the "Placement Head/Nozzle Data" window. (Operation
Sequence: [OPERATOR] Button → [SYSTEM] Button → [EDIT] Button entitled "
Placement Head/Nozzle" → "Nozzle Data" Button)
Be sure to check the dimensions in the nozzle type data.
(2) Attach the nozzles to be used.
(3) Select one of the [1], [2], [3], and [4] buttons in the "Select head" group box of the
"NOZZLE POSITION OFFSET" window and the [All nozzle] or the [Designate nozzle]
button. (Operation Sequence: [MAINT.] Button → [TEACHING] Button → [NOZ POS
OFFSET] Button)
(4) Select the [Teach Start] button and press the [START] button.
(5) Follow the same procedure for "[1] through [4]" in the "Select head" group box.
(6) Select the [End] button.
The "Confirmation to Saving" dialog box opens. Select the [Yes] button.
The teaching session is terminated.
• The target value is "0.2 mm or less".

When the machine is delivered or transferred under normal condition, it is not
required to perform any teaching operations on the following items.
2.3.8 Head Rotational Angle Axis Offset
Teaching after Replacement of Head Unit and Nozzle Axis Assembly
• Procedure for Teaching Operation
(1) Use the φ6 nozzles (4 pcs.) for "1", "4", "7", and "10". (HA09)
(2) Set the nozzle IDs to be used in the "Placement Head/Nozzle Data" window. (Operation
Sequence: [SUPV] Button → [SYSTEM] Button → [EDIT] Button entitled " Placement
Head/Nozzle Data" → "Nozzle Data" Button).
Be sure to check the dimensions in the nozzle type data.
(3) Attach the φ6 nozzles (4 pcs.) to the "1", "4", "7", and "10" positions.
(4) Select one of the [1], [2], [3], and [4] buttons in the "Select head" group box of the
"HEAD ROTATE AXIS" window. (Operation Sequence: [MAINT.] Button →
[TEACHING] Button → [OTHERS] Button → [HD ROT AXIS OFST] Button)
(5) Select the [Teach Start] button and press the [START] button.
When an error occurs after the first teaching operation, refer to the graphic
image and enter "Pre-Rotate Setting" values. After that, press the [Teach Start]
button again.
(6) Follow the same procedure for "[1] through [4]" in the "Select head" group box.
(7) Select the [End] button.
The "Confirmation to Saving" dialog box opens. Select the [Yes] button.
The teaching session is terminated.
2.3.9 Component Recognition Camera Offset (Magnification Teaching)
Teaching after Replacement of Component Recognition Camera
• Procedure for Teaching Operation
(1) Put the magnification teaching jig depository on the component recognition camera.
(2) Place the magnification teaching jig on the jig depository. (Same as IX and CX)
Do not select the [Teach Start (Offset Data)] button.
(3) Select one of the [1], [2], [3], and [4] buttons in the "Select camera" group box of the
"COMPONENT RECOG CAMERA OFFSET" window. (Operation Sequence: [MAINT.]
Button → [TEACHING] Button → [OTHERS] Button → [CMP RECOG CAMR OFST]
Button)
(4) Select the [Teach Start (Mag instruction)] button and press the [START] button.
(5) Follow the same procedure for "[1] through [4]" in the "Select camera" group box.
(6) Select the [End] button.
The "Confirmation to Saving" dialog box opens. Select the [Yes] button.
